NaNoWriMo Calendar 2010

So for those who don’t know, National Novel Writing Month – NaNoWriMo – is an annual challenge to write 50000 words of fiction in the month of November. It seems like an odd thing to do until you try it, at which point it becomes oddly addictive.

I try to make a calendar wallpaper every year. I think it works best when centred on a Β white background, and you’re also welcome to print it out and use as you will. In previous years MLs have even been known to hand them round their groups, which is pretty darn awesome.

Good luck to anyone attempting NaNoWriMo this year!

  1. I’m so glad, I’ve been looking for your wallpapers, I always use them! Thanks for making them again this year πŸ™‚

  2. Every year, I look for your NaNo wallpapers. I’ve been using them since you started making them. Honestly, yours are the best. I love how you round the numbers to even ones. (like 10,000 instead of 10,002), they’re easy to read (For this sort of thing, minimalist is best) and yours are the funniest! Since you started making them, so many other people have tried to make good, funny ones. But they’re just copies. Yours are the ones that always make me laugh, repeatedly. So thank you. (My fave this year is day 4. Brilliant)

    Keep ’em coming!
And good luck on your NaNovel.

    1. Thank you ever so much for your lovely comment. It’s really nice to think someone notices what I’ve been doing πŸ™‚

I hope your novel went well. Here’s to 2011!

  3. I’ve used your wallpapers for the last couple years and I was so happy to see you made one for this year too. I always print them out and write in my word count every day. When the month is over I pin them to my particle board and it makes me smile. Thank you so much for making them every year!
